The very first Self-Publishing Book Expo will be open to the public and will shine a light solely on self-published books and authors. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase books, speak to the authors, and attend a series of lectures and panel discussions on a wide array of topics for aspiring and published authors.
Admission: $15 for the exhibition area only; $30 for the exhibition area and admittance to all panels and discussions.

Bring the family for an afternoon of fun in the forest. Join Greenbelt educators as they sing “Happy Birthday” to the Nature Center, say hello to the resident reptiles, take part in hikes and earth-friendly games, and make a memorable green kids pledge. This program is geared toward families with children ages 5 and up.

Hip Hop dance duo Kwikstep and Rokafella present a special evening of music, jamming, art and a sneak peek screening of “All The Ladies Day,” a new documentary highlighting the lives of six female street dancers from San Jose, Atlanta, Miami and Chicago who have carved a niche in the physically challenging world of breakdancing.
