Sir! No Sir! – A Film by David Zeiger

The Public Issues Committee (PIC) invites you to a cabaret-style showing of Sir! No Sir! The film tells the long suppressed story of the GI movement to end the war in Vietnam. This is the story of one of the most vibrant and widespread upheavals of the 1960’s. The film will be followed by a discussion.
Admission is a $10 contribution PIC and includes popcorn and two beverages.

10th Annual Outdoor International Film Festival

Each evening of the festival focuses on a different country or culture, and visitors are invited to sample regional cuisine from neighborhood restaurants, picnic on the grass, listen to performances by local musicians, and watch international films on an outdoor screen. Tonight’s pre-screening performance features live music by Mexican quintet, Bachelor Sound Machín. Screenings include “Duck Season” (2006, Mexico).
